OPPO Waterfall Screen Technology

Oppo has just teased a new concept which showcases its most curved smartphone screen Technology ever. Dubbed as Waterfall Screen, the display curved 88 degrees around to the side of the smartphone.

It seems that the screen will replace physical keys for volume and power as there are no keys in the displayed concept picture.

You can see the screen text and other items bend as it approaches the edges. This also means that the smartphone will be more fragile than before on the flipside.

The smartphone shows a high screen to body ratio as well as a very narrow formfactor owing to the narrow aspect ratio which seems to be 21:9 or higher.
